infernal software package provides inference of RNA secondary structural alignments, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install infernal
infernal is installed in your system.
Make ensure the infernal package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep infernal *
You will get with infernal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
